Keith Payne, a former business owner, understands the rewards, challenges, and responsibilities inherent in business ownership. His firsthand experience allows him to share valuable insights into the trials and tribulations of owning a business, offering sound advice to his clients. With over 30 years of corporate and small business experience, Keith has spent more than ten years structuring specialty financing packages for multi-million-dollar technology initiatives.
As Closing & Finance Manager, Keith’s focus is working with preferred lending partners to structure customized financing solutions for all types of business transactions. Additionally, once an offer has been accepted, Keith works closely with all parties involved to ensure a smooth and timely closing.
Keith is also a licensed Business Broker with a focus on serving independent insurance agencies. As a member of both the Minnesota Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers Association (MIIAB) and the Professional Insurance Agents of Minnesota (PIA of Minnesota),. His areas of expertise include assisting independent insurance agency owners with a smooth exit into the next phase of their lives. Keith is also an expert in the lawn maintenance and landscape industry and a member of the Minnesota Nursery and Landscape Association (MNLA).
Keith's achievements include being named Rookie of the Year in 2021, receiving the Five Star Award in 2021 for the most five-star Google reviews, and earning the ACE Award in 2023 for demonstrating the power of partnerships within the community. He is a President’s Club Qualifier for 2021, 2022, and 2023. Further demonstrating his commitment, he was a Former Board of Directors member for the Chaska Rotary and Co-President for 2023-2024, as well as a Former Board of Directors member with the Southwest Metro Chamber of Commerce. In 2024, Keith received the Warrior Award for persevering through adversity and displaying strength and leadership.
Outside of work, Keith enjoys spending time with his wife, two adult children as well as running, mountain biking, and BBQing in his backyard.
